Production Line Retrofit
A full retrofit of an ageing production line, so it runs like new without the price of new.
The challenge
The machine still ran, but the controls were obsolete, spare parts were hard to find and safety no longer met the mark.
What we did
We kept the solid mechanics, fitted a new PLC and servo drives, rebuilt the electrical panel and brought the safety up to current standards.
The result
Throughput went up by more than a fifth, downtime dropped by almost two thirds and the line has years of reliable life ahead of it again.
